Sisters of Charity of Saints Bartolomea Capitanio and Vincenza Gerosa  (SCCG)

The Reverent Sisters who are collaborating with Navodaya Institution belong to the above Congregation which has its Head Quarters in Milano, Italy. It was founded in 1832 and they are also called “Sisters of Maria Bambina” since Infant Mary is their special Patroness. This Society has branches in four continents of the world, and run Charitable Institutions like, orphanages, homes for the destitutes and the aged, hospices for the abandoned, hospitals and health care centers, educational institutions and social developmental programs.

The Sisters started working in Nepal from 1999.   Now they have six convents in Nepal and are working in four districts. They belong to the New Delhi Province.

The Sisters started collaborating with the Navodaya Institution from the year 2006. Now three Sisters _ Srs. Evelyn Varkey, Liza Augustine and Hilda Lewis - are engaged in all the activities of Navodaya, and take good care of the children.
