The school makes positive efforts to promote Chepang Culture. ‘Chepang Culture’ is an additional subject taught in the school for which exam also is conducted along with other subjects. A Chepang Teacher teaches this subject. All important Chepang festivals are celebrated in the school with all solemnity and entertainment programs. The children make special programs on the Chepang festival day of Nowangi and on the International Day of Indigenous Peoples. Chepang folk songs are sung by children in all important occasions. They are motivated to love and esteem their own culture.
