The population of Chepang, according to 2011 census is 68,399 (Female: 33779 & Male: 34620) (The total Population of entire Nepal is 26,630,809). They are mainly spread over 54 VDCs covering the districts of Makwanpur (34%), Chitwan (37%), Gorkha (6%), Dhading (18%), Lamjung and Tanahu and others (5%). This is only 0.25% of the total population of Nepal.
